Overview

Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä was founded durring the early 15th century in spring of the year 1425, by Tautame Helethwen Edlessel. The establishment of Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Tautame Helethwen Edlessel struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä as a prison colony.

Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of premissive cobblestone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The city has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The city's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.

A quick look in any direction shows Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this city live.

Cultural Notes

Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.

In Vó̄y Zoúē Ni̋ēkēä snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.
